The 50s and 60s had some notable television families that produced teen idols such as Rick Nelson and Paul Petersen. But the early 70s was truly "family time" in the pages of 16! Real or fictional, musical or not, like the Monkees before them these faves supersized their popularity via television. This month's cover is devoted to members of The Osmonds, The Jackson Five, The Patridge Family and The Brady Bunch. Pictured are the era's "fab four," Donny Osmond, Michael Jackson, David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman (not part of a family, but a regular on "Shindig," and "Here Come the Brides.") The family-frenzy continued inside with articles on Chris Knight, Jermaine Jackson, Barry Williams, and Osmonds Marie, Jimmy, Wayne, and Tom (who was not even in show business!)
Who is your fave 16-era family?
