Gloria Stavers Was Born On This Day

If Gloria were with us today, she would no doubt be enjoying the renaissance of so many 16 faves who are selling out concert halls, starring on popular television shows, appearing at fan festivals, and receiving awards.  I hope they all take a minute today to remember Gloria, and how much her support in those early days contributed to their success.  As someone who was a very young 16 reader, I appreciate the influence she had on expanding my musical tastes, and I've heard from so many others who feel the same.  As always, I welcome your thoughts and memories of those 16 days!
